Why Force USA Leverage Gyms are cheaper than Powertec

Initially I was really annoyed when I saw these cheap copies come out but after hearing feedback from our customers we do not have a lot to worry about. I have had a good look at pictures of the Force USA Leverage Gyms on the internet and I was going to list some of the corners they have cut with these inferior gyms. But as they say if you ca't say anything positive do't say anything at all. So I am going to let the genuine Powertec Leverage Gyms do all the talking, As you can

Prone Rows on the Powertec Multi Sytem

Here is another great back exercise for the Powertec Multi System. If your back is still recovering from a heavy squatting session, this a great way to hit the back muscles when your lower back is still a bit tender. This video was shot on the Powertec Leverage Gym, however the movement on the Powertec Multi System is the same. I find the best position to perform this exercise on the Powertec Multi System is to but the bench press arm on the lowest hole and set the bench on a steep inc

Bench Press Extended Sets on Powertec Multi System

A lot of people ask if the Powertec Multi System has a pec dec - well this video will show you why you do't need one! I will always remember what Brad said when I asked him about flys and pec decs. He said "you do't need to worry about that s#@t unless you have a chest!" And when Brad means a chest he means a well developed chest - not a pair of man boobs. So the moral of the story is if you do't have set of rock hard pecs just keep hitting the bench press.

More of Ivan Sadek hammering the Powertec Leverage Gym

I finally got around to editing the rest of the footage of IFBB Pro Ivan Sadek putting the Powertec Leverage Gym through its paces. This video will change your opinion on home gyms if you have't seen a Powertec gym before. People are often concerned about the breaking strain of cables on home gyms. Hopefully this video will clear this concern up. The Powertec Leverage Gym is designed for hard training and feels just as smooth under heavy load as it does when using light weights.

Australian IFBB Pro Bodybuilding Grand Prix IX 2009 Review

Well it was another cracker year at the Aussie Pro Grand Prix. It was a top quality line up and Tony Doherty always makes it entertaining. The highlights of the show were: The pro bodybuilding debut of Ivan Sadek - he has not competed for 5 years and jumps on stage at his first pro show and misses out on qualifying for the Olympia by 2 points. Look out for Ivan when he gets a few comps under his belt. Mike Kefalianos made his pro debut and qualified for the Olympia. What a way to start

Lat Pull Extended Sets on Powertec Multi System

Here is a great way to up the intensity in your lat workout on the Powertec Multi System. You do't have to do it every workout, just when you are feeling strong and want to take it to the next level. One of the things that put people off training in a home gym is that they wo't have enough exercises for each body part. Hopefully these videos demonstrate that there are several ways that you can perform the same exercise to get the required variety into your weight training. You do't need a

Ironmaster Dumbbell MMA Carry Workout

Now here is different style of workout for you all. I have done it twice now and it is definitely one of Funk's best!!! One of the purposes of the Ironmaster dumbbell workout series was to expand the traditional weight trainers horizons. Funk's MMA style workouts are a break from the traditional set, rep structure of bodybuilding training. The previous workouts incorporated traditional exercises into the high volume format. Now the dumbbell carry workout adds another twist with some d

Lee Priest Powertec Incline Press Video

See Lee Priest blast his chest on the Powertec Multi System doing incline bench press. The best lesson you can learn from this video is how Lee performs this exercise with perfect form. He has handling massive weight but doing full and controlled reps. If you ca't control the weight then you are using too much! This is the first video of a complete chest workout Lee does on his Powertec home gym set up.

Powertec Olympic Bench Press

We are finally getting more stock of the Powertec Olympic Bench Press. The new design has been a huge hit and we have been selling them as fast as we can get them. The combination of a delayed order and a jump in sales has lead to us running out of the new bench press. But we have got more coming in the first week in November, and a stream of containers coming in after that. The addition of the new attachments in the Powertec range have made these benches even more popular. Not only are they a

Testimonial - Lee Priest Ironmaster IM2000

Now you all know that I am a huge fan of the Ironmaster IM2000. This is coming from someone who previously did't care much for smith machines. This is what Lee's wife had to say about the IM2000 - Here's a short vid of Lee using the new smith ... he loves it. In fact, I love it. Can do so much on it and I do't have to go to the gym as often when I feel like working out at home. Same goes for Lee ... we worked out at home the whole week since we got it. Now I was't

The Truth About Bodyworx Leverage Gym Copies

I had some very disturbing news from a Melbourne customer recently. There is someone selling Bodyworx Leverage Gyms in Melbourne who does't mind stretching the truth.......The customer went to check out a Bodyworx copy of the Powertec Multi System. The sales guy quoted him $2,600 and obviously the customer said why would I buy a copy for $2,600 when I can get the real deal for $2,490? This is when the bullshit starts. The sales guy says they are the same and come out of the same factory.

Olympic Weight Plates - They aren’t all created equally

When purchasing weight plates it is easy to just say that they all weigh the same so it does't really matter what kind you get. So I just thought I would share with you some evidence that not all Olympic Weight Plates are created equally. During the recent hot weather in Sydney a funny thing happened to some of the rubber coated Olympic plates in our showroom and gym. We had some cheaper mixed plates that we had left over and just had them on some gym equipment so customers can jump on machin

Thinking about a Home Gym?

Thinking about a Home Gym? In a perfect world if you had a gym at the end of your street with top notch weight training equipment which was not packed to the rafters when you wanted to train and charged reasonable gym fees, you would probably not need to train at home. If there was a bit of crumpet floating around in some skimpy gear you would't mind even waiting for gym equipment - I think they call it loitering with intent. However this is not case for most of the weight training population.

Hip Belt Squats on the Powertec Leverage Gym

I found this video on Youtube and it just goes to show the versatility of the Powertec Leverage Gym. In the video Ed has come up with a nifty invention allowing you to do hip belt squats - a great exercise for legs especially if your back is playing up.The beauty of Ed's invention is that you can also use it to perform bicep curls as well.
