Muscle Pizzas - The Best Way to Eat Canned Tuna
This was the recipe in our August 2008 Newsletter. If you haven’t signed up already make sure you do for more great recipes. Anyway eating canned tuna can get pretty boring. If I keep eating it for long periods I end up gagging on it and can’t look at it for a while. Muscle Pizzas are the best way to eat canned tuna. If there is a better way please let me know.
Brad made these for me when he was staying for the IFBB Australian Championships in 2007. I have a had hundreds since. They are easy to make, taste great and you can vary the toppings so you don’t get sick of them.
Muscle Pizzas
- Get one Lebanese bread
- Spread on some tomato paste – you get pizza base variety which has some herbs that give it even more flavor.

- Sprinkle on some chopped onion, capsicum & mushroom – you can vary the toppings with olives, tomatoes, egg plant etc.
- Sprinkle on some shredded low fat mozzarella cheese – I emphasize sprinkle. If you end up with 2 inches of cheese on top you might as well get a BBQ meat lovers from Pizza Hut and save yourself the hassle.
- Put in the oven at 180C for 15min and check. It might need another 5 mins until it is ready to eat.
