60kg Standard Adjustable Dumbbell Set

The old spinlock adjustable dumbbell set is a piece of gym equipment that has been part of nearly every home gym. Along with an EZ curl bar, my dumbbell set was what kicked off my home weight training.

This 60kg dumbbell set includes a set of standard spinlock dumbbell handles, 8 x 5kg rubber coated plates, 4 x 2.5kg rubber coated plates, and 4 x 1.25kg rubber coated plates. We have got solid 5kg standard plates instead of the traditional EZ grip plates as this will reduce the overall diameter of the dumbbells. This allows for a greater range of motion on exercises like shoulder and bench press.

The great thing about this dumbbell set is that you can pull off or put on whichever combo of weight plates that you wish up to 30kg per dumbbell handle.

An adjustable dumbbell set is a great way to add some extra exercises to your home weight training without breaking the bank. A common gripe with these styles of dumbbells is that it takes too long to change weights between sets. The easiest way to overcome this is just to stick to the same weight for all your sets. You don’t have to do pyramid sets on every exercise. As a matter of fact, you can do a whole workout without changing weights!
