Not everyone has the time or the funds to either build or purchase the ultimate lifting platform. GymFloor® offers European made 30 mm thick tiles that feature a honeycomb shock & noise absorption system. They are held together using durable nylon frog connectors which prevent the platform from moving around.

Is the Plyo board necessary for the weight lifting platform?
Most people opt for the plyo board in the middle of the platform. It gives the user a more stable ground to push against, which is a must if you are planning on deadlifting +250kg. However, the downside of the plyo board based platform is that it cannot be re-configured or moved very easily.
This is where the 30 mm tiles are superior. In case you decide to move or resize your platform, you can simply add a few extra tiles and connect them together with the frog connectors.
