If your primary purpose for getting bumper plates is the deadlift, then a couple of pairs of 25kg are a safe bet. You can get the bog-standard Olympic plates in 10kg, 5kg, 2.5kg and so on. Four 25kg plates, plus a pair of 20kg plates will ensure you will have plenty of weight to throw around!
