Belt Squat Machines have been around for years, but they have seen an increase in popularity recently. Belt Squats are an exercise that can strengthen the legs while reducing the stress on the spine.
Traditional belt squat machines are typically large and expensive. This isn’t a huge issue, but the designs were dated and utilised old technology. ATX® entered the market with their German design philosophies and advanced production capabilities, giving the Belt Squat Machine a makeover.

What’s so special about the Belt Squat Machine
Compared to other belt squat machines, ATX® are giving you a more compact and versatile machine for an unbeatable price. And although looks aren’t everything; it is a damn good looking machine!
This machine is a showcase of modern production methods. These advanced methods allow ATX® to make many custom parts which shrink the footprint without compromising load capacity.
Squats in a belt squat machine will alleviate the pressure from your upper body while still maintaining an upright position. It’s perfect if you have any niggling upper body injuries, or simply need a break from barbell squats.
Probably one of the best things about belt squats is that you can go as heavy as you want and keep repping until failure, without worrying about getting crushed.
Peace of Mind
During high rep barbell squats, people tend to lose form due to heavy breathing and fatigue which increases the risk of injury. With hip belt squats, it is much easier to maintain proper form, and if you run into any issues it’s easy to get out of.
You can use the handles to lift yourself up or just pull the lever arm and the weight won’t bring you down. Training with the ATX® Belt Squat Machine will give you greater peace of mind as you can train to your maximum without fearing the barbell crashing down onto you.
The ATX® Belt Squat Machine has a massive loading capacity of 600kg! Not something you will get from a cable machine. The station also comes with robust dip bars (300kg loading capacity). The platform itself is made out of non-slip rubberized steel plates with a footprint of 115cm x 65cm.
The large platform allows you to perform various exercises such as weighted dips, front squats, zercher squats, belt squats, cable rows, t-bar rows.
