Have you ever tried using a safety squat bar or fat bar on a rack? The barbells are usually way too thick for standard J-Hooks, so even if it does fit it can feel a bit precarious.
ATX® has a solution for their rack and rigs: an extra-long shelf will hold even the thickest barbell, allowing you to train safely with your specialty bar.
The J-Hook has a slight angle so that a normal barbell returns to the end of the J-Hook and you’ll always start the lift from the same position, rather than having the barbell sitting on an angle.
