When doing lat pulldowns on this machine, close your eyes and you could easily believe you are training at an exclusive gym. The ATX® 650 Lat Option feels and performs just like a high end lat pulldown machine but at a fraction of the price. If you are currently training at a less than exclusive gym, where the equipment is often neglected, you will be kicking yourself you did not set up your own exclusive gym sooner!
Here is what makes the ATX-LTO-650-SW Lat Option great:
- 1:1 Ratio – No Mechanical Advantage.
- Certified for Commercial Use – EN 20957 I.II.IV – S.
- High Base Weight – 152.5 kgs for optimum stability.
- 115 kgs Weight Stack in 5 kg Increments with KG and LBS weight markings. With the 1:1 ratio this is more than enough for even the most hardcore trainer.
- 5-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
- Genuine 160 kgs Load Rating (safe working load).
As Smooth as it gets!
The current ATX® Lat Option iterations are getting better. They were always ahead of the competition, but they have just tweaked the recipe to extend their lead. The addition of the solid 20mm guide rails in preference to the 25mm hollow steel tube reduces the friction, whilst reducing flex.
If you had ever tried our Barbarian Lat Option with the 25mm guide rails, it would be hard to believe that any improvements could be made as it already felt incredibly smooth. With the re-branding to ATX®, the engineers thought they would give us a special treat with this upgrade.
Please note, the guide rails will come without any lubrication (otherwise the assembly process could get quite messy). It is recommended to get some 3-in-One Multipurpose Oil Lubricant or other non-petroleum based lubricant for optimum performance.
Foot Rest and Knee Pad
When you are attempting heavy lifts you need to be anchored into position. The ATX® 650 Lat Option has adjustable knee rollers that will keep you planted to the bench when performing lat pulldowns.
But what is the real eye catcher are the custom ATX® footplates. Yes they look the goods, but solve a long term demand for footplates on similar power cage systems. After years of training with just butting my heels up against the rear base cross member I can assure you that this old school method does the trick.
However these ATX® footplates just give a real quality feel and put this lat option into the same standing as much more expensive machines.
Inclusions
