The ATX Vertical Leg Press will allow you to re-live the golden era. Many bodybuilders believe that this a is more effective exercise than a 45 degree leg press where it is easier to press the equivalent weight than on a vertical press. Not only is this exercise great for targeting the quads, you can also hit the hamstrings and glutes.

Why Choose the ATX Vertical Leg Press?

A muscular man exercises intensely on the ATX® Vertical Leg Press at the gym. Shirtless, he showcases his toned muscles and unwavering focus. In the black-and-white scene, dumbbells in the background enhance the intensity of his workout session.
Someone is using the ATX® Vertical Leg Press, pushing weighted plates with their legs while on their back. In the background, a person with a mustache and gym attire observes, amidst the lively atmosphere of a bustling gym.

Unlike traditional 45° leg presses, the vertical leg press directs the weight load squarely onto your leg muscles, making every rep challenging. This design delivers stimulation for your quads while engaging your hamstrings and glutes in a way different to a 45 degree leg press.

You may hear some opinions on the vertical leg press as an exercise. Some people claim it can damage your back. Some say it is inferior to other leg exercises. In this video Flex Lewis demonstrates the correct form on the exercise.

Most importantly he mentions that not a lot of gyms have these machines, but it was one of the first he got for his gym. Judging by his wheels he might be a bloke that you might listen to for leg training advice.

Flex is demonstrating on the Arsenal Vertical Leg Press which would be close to $10K in Australia. On the other end of the spectrum are cheap machines that are not just flimsy but downright dangerous. The ATX Vertical Leg Press is the perfect middle ground.
