The ATX® Wall Mounted Lat Pulldown was designed for the European market where there is a massive demand for space-efficient gym equipment. With property prices in Australia rivalling many European cities, weight trainers are constantly looking for ways to save space in their gyms.
The Lat Machine has a low height of 200cm, so it will squeeze in under some pretty low ceilings. If you have ever read old school weight training books, you will see that before they had dedicated lat pull machines, they used to perform lat pulldowns in the kneeling position. So when you are in this position, you will have plenty of range of motion.
For seated rows, this machine has a low pulley with footpegs. Combined with a rating of 130kg you will be able to move plenty of weight.
Even though it only has one square guide rail, the ATX® Pulldown still runs super smooth thanks to dual bearings on all pulleys. This isn’t a cheap single runner – this is German engineering.
A Pulldown for Group Training
For personal trainers, there has been a massive shift toward group training. Previously offering such classes with resistance training was not feasible as the investment required in gym equipment was prohibitive. Plus it would take up a lot of space. But as you can see, the wall-mounted pulldowns are ideal for such an environment.
With these machines and a few simple cable attachments, you can work your back, shoulders and arms. Half the body sorted! You could compliment these pulldowns with the ATX® Wall Mounted Half Racks with the bench of your choice, and you would have chest plus legs covered!
