We have got a treat for you here. Screw lock cable fittings were a godsend because you didn’t need a hydraulic crimper to swage them on. The only issue was that the range was limited. For machines like the “Free motion” Cable Cross Machines that required rotational fittings, the OEM cable fittings are PRICEY! I am talking $40 to $50USD for the fitting alone.

Crunch Fitness came to us for a solution. We have sourced a replacement that functions and operates the same at a fraction of the price. You can see in the video that it held 3.1KN or 316kgs with ease. Better still Crunch as put a couple out in their gyms with no dramas. If they survive in Crunch they will survive in your gym!

These fittings will only work with 3mm gym cable. You have to strip off the protective coating and insert the 3mm wire in bareback. Tighten up the grub screws and you are done. If you got a technician in to replace it with OEM parts it would cost hundreds of dollars. You can use these fittings on any machine that uses 3mm gym cable.
