Jammer and Lever Arm Review
This is one of the most comprehensive Jammer and Lever Arm Reviews that you will find. Daniel is a legend and extremely knowledgeable on gym equipment. He knows way more than me about other brands – I am too busy at the moment to go to train in commercial gyms. Plus Daniel has had extensive experience with other Jammer Arms and Leverage equipment in his home gym. Which I might add is one of the best I have seen.
Leverage Arms
Daniel is the proud owner of an ATX-WSX-680-SW Triplex Weight Stack Gym. Personally I was blown away by this gym. But truthfully because I am not out trying other gym equipment, I was never sure where it ranked.
In this video Daniel breaks down the movements and compares them to high end commercial brands like Prime and Max Pump. In most cases the movements are the same or even better.
Daniel also dispels some of the “marketing” features of these gyms. I am not saying that machines with converging arcs are bad or inferior. The fact is that they are quite expensive. In Daniel’s opinion, not mine, on some exercises like chest press it is not as good.
Jammer Arms
ATX have always had Jammer Arms, but they have recently expanded their range. So you don’t need to buy an ATX multi station gym to add these great exercises to your workout. You can add them to your ATX squat cage with bench.
These Jammer Arms actually have an added layer of adjustability in that you can adjust the height. This opens up even more exercises and variations. At the time of writing this they are under $500 and take up bugger all space.
For a home gym enthusiast this is pure gold. In Daniel’s review he rattled off 4 machines that cost between $6-$10k each which can be replicated.
It Has Never Been Better!
We have been doing leverage rows for decades. So I feel that we are qualified to talk on the subject. The rows that you see on the video with the Powertec Multi System were and still are great.
However as Daniel mentions, the little upgrades whether it be to the bench or arms just make it a whole lot better. They are easier to set up and easier to adjust to your body shape or exercise.
The fact that we are evening mentioning brands like Prime and Max Pump in the same breath as a multi gym or jammer arms is mind blowing for me. You really can create your own scaled down commercial gym at home at a fraction of the price and space.
