For most applications, our copper bushed barbells will do the job. But if you are going to do some dynamic style lifts, you might prefer the Power Maxx 1500lbs thrust bearing bar. The steel sleeves rotate on bearings, which give a higher rotation speed compared to the bushed bars.

Although there is not a massive difference between a 28mm barbell and a 32mm bar, the extra 4mm can really be quite taxing for the grip. For some people this will be a problem, for others, this will be a welcome challenge!
You will be pleasantly surprised at how much your grip will improve as you train with these bars. Don’t be disheartened the first time you use one and you are struggling to hang on to weight well below your PB!
We have supplied these barbells Australia-wide for years, to gyms and personal trainers, so you don’t have to worry about breaking them. They have earned a great reputation as a budget barbell that can take a beating.
