Everybody marvels at German engineering for high-end products like luxury cars and appliances. However, basic products like the Low Ceiling Power Rack should not be overlooked. While it may look like a standard design, it boasts some very clever, yet subtle design elements.

By welding the support brackets on the 60mm x 60mm uprights, it not only makes the rack easier to assemble, but also adds greatly to its stiffness. High tensile steel nuts and bolts tighten these quality materials up for maximum strength. This rack will perform just like a more expensive one while squeezing in places other racks can‐t.

The J-Hooks are bent into the ideal shape out of a 10mm thick steel plate, making them stronger than you will ever need. The J-Hooks also comes with a 10mm thick UMHW nylon sleeve. This will reduce noise and save your barbell‐s knurling/coating.

The Pin-Pipe Spotter System is manufactured out of solid 20 mm thick steel tube. They are sheathed with a 38 x 3 mm thick steel casing for extra strength and easier barbell adjustment during exercises like pin press.

The most notable feature of the ATX®PRX 610 Low Ceiling Power Cage is the significantly reduced height (just 195 cm!). Which makes it suitable for places where height is an issue ‐ attic/garage/basement.

With the cage being 146 cm deep and the ability to wheel your bench inside of the cage, you won‐t need that much additional space to train compared to some of the Half Racks or even Spotting Stands. The upside is with the full-sized power cage you won‐t be compromising on quality and safety.

Despite the compact footprint, you can utilise the majority of attachments and accessories offered for the 600 series power racks. Best of all there is the ATX-LTO-510 Lat Option, which is also designed specifically for the 195cm cage.
