We did some more explosive reps at 140 kgs and then worked up to 180kgs/400lbs to properly test the stability of the bench.

Is this an adjustable bench or a flat bench?

The Super Bench PRO V2 is a fully adjustable bench, not just a flat bench. With 11 different backrest angles from 0 through to 85 degrees for a wide range of exercises.

Does the seat on this bench adjust as well?

Yes, the seat is height‑adjustable to three positions (approximately 12.5″, 14.5″ and 23.5″ off the floor). Accordingly you can dial in your position for pressing and other dumbbell work.

Can I use this as a decline bench?

Yes, just put it on incline and jump on the opposite end. This is suitable for shallow decline work. For steeper, just grab the optional Crunch attachment.

What is a dual‑width bench pad and why does it matter?

The dual‑width backrest pad has a narrower side for more range of motion in bodybuilding‑style pressing and a wider side that conforms to IPF‑style bench specs for heavy powerlifting.

Is this a good bench for a small home gym?

Yes, the Super Bench PRO V2 has a significantly compact footprint, stores upright. Secondly it replaces multiple benches and machines when combined with attachments. Making it ideal for tight garage or spare‑room gyms.

Can I do chest‑supported rows and rear delt work on this bench?

The Super Bench PRO has more clearance under the bench than many adjustable gym benches. Consequently it will allow you to perform prone style row.

Is the bench difficult to assemble?

This bench is very easy to assemble. You just have to bolt on the feet.

What kind of maintenance does this adjustable bench require?

Routine checks on bolts, occasional cleaning of the pad and light lubrication of moving parts are usually sufficient to keep the bench performing smoothly for years.

    Absolutely stoked with this bench and the service!! I was doing lots of research on a bench for my garage gym. I read heaps of reviews and watched many videos reviewing the bench and comparing to others. I couldn’t decide between this and the REP Blackwing but went with Ironmaster for a few reasons.

    The attachments range is awesome, leaving lots of room to expand the exercise options. The light weight and wheels make this easy to move so my wife can use it when I’m not around. It stores upright easily, and one of the few criticisms reviewers have about the pad quality and seat seem to be farfetched to me.

    I’ve never used a better quality pad at a gym and the seat adjustment is optimal so that I can do overhead tricep extensions without hitting the back of the pad. I really like everything about this bench and I’m really happy that I went with this one. Absolutely no regrets.

    The service from Sam was amazing, processing the order and delivery was blazingly fast, even so early into the New Year. I can’t recommend this enough.

    It’s been half a year or so of owning this bench and it’s worth every cent. Even without the attachments it’s robust build and easy to use, versatile angles allows for an amazing range of movements, especially as the rotation structures leave a large clearance underneath for chest supported rows, rear delt work etc etc.Plus it’s standard height if official bench press metrics are important to you.A decent bench is a fundamental; couple that with the attachments and you can have the complete compact gym at home( cos a public gym in 2025? Forget that) Me and my son love it to bits. Shipping was rapid all the way to VIC and the staff at Sam’s are awesome.

    Truely amazing bench. I have used it for about 6 months now, 4 days a week and the quality is top notch, seem very durable. Straight forward to use and the fact that there are so many attachment available makes it hard to beat from my point of view.
