2010 IFBB Australian Pro Grand Prix 10

Well it is looking very much like I am going to miss the 2010 Australian Pro Grand Prix 10. To say I am disappointed is an understatement especially since the show is moving to a new venue – the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Tony Doherty always puts on a top notch show but he is really cranking it up for the 10th show. The competitor list is still coming together so I will keep you all posted on any developments. But with Dexter Jackson, Big Matthew Grimshaw and Kai Greene heading the list you know that this is going to be a world class show.

Not Just a Bodybuilding Show

The past couple of years have been a great weekend away. Melbourne is a great city so there are plenty of other things to do while you down there. A work out at Doherty’s gym is a must. Go there on Friday and you will get to see some of the pros doing their thing.

If you have never been to a bodybuilding show before this is the one to go to. You will freak at the size of the dudes and Tony always makes sure the show runs smoothly and is chock full of entertainment. I have even seen the fire brigade turn up because they thought the joint was on fire!

Sometimes you get in the doldrums with your training. There is nothing worse than not wanting to train or struggling through a workout. These IFBB Australian shows are a great source of motivation. Seeing a massive unit like Matt “Trunks” Grimshaw in the flesh will have you tearing down the gym door to get pumped!
