John McCallum referred to dips as the upper body equivalent of squats. He built nearly all of his routines for getting big around squats, so this tells you the importance of this simple yet often overlooked exercise.
The dip attachment (IM DIP) for the Ironmaster Super Bench is a great way to incorporate dips into your routine without the need for a standalone machine like a Power Tower.
The attachment simply slides into the spine of the super bench and is locked in place with a pull pin. There are 3 height positions between 127cm and 133cm from the floor.
The handles are 58cm wide. The heavy-duty rubber grips are comfortable and allow you to get a firm hold which is important when you are supporting your body weight and more. They are rated for 158kg.
You can also reverse the dip handles and do leg raises and knee raises.
