ATX® Half Rack 810 with Extension

ATX® equipment has always stood out from the competition whether it was an extensive list of optional attachments or the stellar build quality. And this Slim Power Rack fits right into the current line up.

Originally the extension was intended to be used for the weight plate storage horns, which made this rack desirable for Commercial Gyms and Studios as you could set up “Private” training areas for the gym goers.

The Squat Rack itself is only 180 cm deep, while the word “only” might deserve an eyebrow raise, it is worth remembering that 800 Series Racks and Cages are tailored for Elite weight training gyms where safety is the number one priority and you simply cannot take a chance of the rack toppling over.

Especially when the Optional Spotter Arms have the same spotting shelf length as your standard power cage – 65 cm. The ATX® Half Rack 810 with Extension also have a couple of additional tricks up it’s sleeve.

One of them being the lack of multi-grip chin up bar. This has been done intentionally and not as an attempt to offer you less. A lot of commercial and specialty gyms have to opt for 3 metre tall racks, just so that their users could do a standing military press of use Strongman Logs with both elevated starting point and a safe fall-back in case the lift goes wrong. The Multi Grip Chin Up bar would just protrude and significantly limit the bar path.

Don’t want the weight plate storage? No worries! With an addition of the 45 cm Pin Pipe Spotters this Half Rack can be used as a Slim Power Cage. While it may not be as spacious as your full sized power cage, you can still comfortably perform a lot of exercises in that space.
