ATX®Power Rack 755 SD with Plate Loaded Lat Tower Option

The ATX®Power Rack 755 Short Distance with Plate Loaded Lat Tower Option is a full-sized commercial power cage with a silky smooth lat pulldown. It has been designed and engineered in Germany for the European market, but with a bit of charm, Sam managed to bring the whole range to Australia.

This cage features an exceptionally high weight load capacity of 1500kg (total safe working load & not breaking point), alongside the short distance (2.5cm) hole spacing. These features make this rack ideal for any strength or powerlifting enthusiast.

Please note: The rack shown in the video features regular hole spacing and an adjustable chin-up bar which do not come with the base listing.

Construction

The ATX®Power Rack 755 system is manufactured out of 70 mm x 70 mm x 3 mm thick steel. This may have been impressive years ago, but now pretty much every commercial rack is made out of 3 mm thick steel.

In order to bulletproof the rack and make it wobble-free, certain modifications had to be made. The ATX®team knew the thick-walled uprights are only as good as the hardware and the reinforcement brackets supporting it. That is why the German engineers opted for hardware used in industrial applications – high tensile strength M12/M20 hardware.

Each upright is reinforced by two 5mm thick laser cut brackets, alongside four M20 (20 mm thick) and two M12 (12 mm thick) bolts. To put it into perspective, most cages on the market are using low tensile strength M12 or M10 bolts. This puts ATX®equipment lightyears ahead of their competition.

Each piece has undergone vigorous testing and is certified for either domestic or commercial use. The ATX®Power Rack 755 Short Distance with Plate Loaded Lat Tower Option has successfully passed the tests and comes with a commercial certification which allows you to use it in a commercial setting.

Plate Loaded Lat Tower

The ATX®PRX Lat Tower Option offers 1:1 ratio. This means that you don’t lose any weight to the mechanical advantage while lifting.

ATX®ditched the tube construction for the guiderails and instead opted for 20mm thick hard-chrome coated rods. This provides you with stability and silky smooth movement.
