ATX® Half Rack HRX-750

The ATX® HRX 750 Half Rack is one of the toughest half racks from the HRX line. While the ATX® Half Rack 750 may not be able to pride itself with the most compact footprint, it can do so when it comes to the excessively high weight load capacity and the largest optional attachment list in the Southern Hemisphere.

Besides its size, some may also find the price to be a little discouraging. For the same price, you could easily find a budget power rack that would serve most of your needs.

The truth is, that the HRX-750 has never been intended to be a compact domestic squat rack that would rarely see any use. It has been pieced together from thick-walled steel and industrial-grade hardware so it could withstand the beating in a commercial setting.

Designed a sturdy half rack is a bit more complicated than one might imagine. Get your measurements wrong and the rack will tip once you rack the barbell. Give a blind eye to the bracing of the uprights and it will shake like a metronome.

The German Engineers, take their time to do things right. Just have a look at the upright reinforcements. You’ve got two thick steel sheets which are held together by 4 x M20 (20 mm thick) high tensile strength bolts. The top cross-member has an additional support bracket added to each corner.

As standard, all ATX® equipment comes with rubber feet. Which protects your floor from damage, reduces the noise while training, and helps to keep the rack in place.
